I’m a licensed psychotherapist based in Brooklyn, NY.

I have a client-centered, multidimensional, whole-body approach.

Fierce compassion is at the heart of my work, informed by humanistic Buddhist psychology.

My work is informed by my own journey in reclaiming my power as a highly sensitive person and myriad other identities, intensive inner work & inquiry into my own childhood + clinical hours working with hundreds of clients (and counting).

I focus on the practical + pragmatic: helping you gain relief, clarity, empowerment in real and measurable ways.

FAQs

A few questions I get asked a lot that might be on your mind, too.

+ What is a highly sensitive person?

Highly sensitive people process sensory information on a deeper level. It’s not a disorder or illness - your brain is simply wired to receive, process and interpret information differently. For example, you’re more attuned to subtleties, you have a rich inner life and vivid imagination, emotions impact you deeply and linger for a while (or at least, longer than you’d like!) etc. About 15 - 20% of the population (in North America) are HSPs.

+ Do I need to be a HSP to work with you?

Nope. If what I talk about here speaks to you in some way, then we may be a right fit for each other. The only way to find out for sure is to schedule a call.

+ how do i know if we are the right fit for each other?

Sometimes you just get a feeling, you know? Or you may just like what you read here. Again, another great opportunity for you to consult your own authority and inner knowing. Most people get a sense of it by the end of the first session.

+ What if I don't know whether I'm an HSP or not?

That’s okay. We can spend some time figuring it out together during a session if that’s something you’d like to explore!

+ Where's the best place to start?

It depends on where you’re at on your unique journey. Maybe you’d like to spend some time resetting yourself. You want to come back into alignment with yourself. Or you want to jump straight in to a session to get into the heart of things.
